A downloadable game

The Doppel-Effect is a two-player social deduction game inspired by the aesthetic of No, I'm Not Human and the communication centred gameplay of Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes

You and your friend are ticket inspectors hunting doppelgängers on a moving train.  Each round, an identical passenger appears in both carriages. You must identify and remove them before the next station. Each player manages a different carriage and cannot see the other passengers. Only through communication can you deduce which passenger appears in both carriages.

Anaglyph Split Screen:

One of the defining features and technical innovations of our game is the ability to play on one monitor and not see the other player's viewpoint! How did we achieve this?

By rendering the player's perspectives in either a blue or red channel and then overlaying them, specially modified 3D glasses allow the light of a single colour channel to be filtered out. This means whilst wearing blue-tinted glasses, only the red channel will be visible, and vice versa.
